At the end of a busy week and a fun-packed weekend, your skin will appreciate a bit of attention.  Help it to look bright for the week ahead with these ideas for replacing that tired, end of weekend look with a healthy glow.

Mask

Perk up your post-week skin with a deep cleansing mask. Or if your skin is feeling dry and sensitive, try a soothing, hydrating mask with water replenishing action.

Exfoliators

Alternatively, a good exfoliator will purify your skin, making you feel clean and refreshed. Exfoliators work by removing excess dead cells, getting rid of dull, dry skin and giving you a brighter look. Choose a gentle exfoliator that will work with your skin’s natural physiological balance to soothe as well as brighten.

Eye-cream

To get rid of that tired look, invigorate the skin around your eyes by applying a high-quality eye-cream as part of your morning and night time routines. Put it on before you apply your moisturiser to make sure it sits close to your skin. If you’ve woken up with puffy eyes, try soothing them with cold teabags or cucumber slices before you apply your eye cream.

Mosturising cream

Comfort dehydrated skin with a good moisturiser – one containing an SPF to help protect your skin when you go outside. Try chilling the moisturiser in the fridge before you put it on so it feels cool and calming.

Micellar water

When you cleanse your face on Sunday evening, try using micellar water. It’s great for cleansing and is suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. The cleansing molecules in the water gently sweep away dirt and oil on your face – and there’s no need for rinsing.

Night cream

Before you settle down for your Sunday night sleep, don’t forget to apply a good night cream. This will help provide the right level of hydration for your skin, support its natural renewal process and get rid of that fatigued look. Getting a good night’s sleep is an important part of your beauty routine, so try to get the amount that’s right for to feel ready to start the week afresh.
