• Bathing your baby is a crucial step in their daily care and hygiene routine
• Do not use soaps, instead use a gentle cleanser adapted for your baby’s skin
• Keep the bath no more than 10 minutes, then carefully pat the skin dry
Bath time should be a special time for bonding and togetherness, promoting your baby's well-being.
Bathing at the right temperature
The bath should be neither too hot, which tends to dry the skin, nor too cold, which can spoil your baby's comfort. Bath your baby for 5 to 10 minutes at a temperature of 37 degrees.
Use a gentle, adapted cleanser
Traditional soap has a high pH and strong cleansing power that can alter the skin's hydrolipidic film. This is why the La Roche-Posay Dermatological Laboratory has formulated LIPIKAR Syndet AP+ to gently cleanse and protect your baby's skin while preserving the skin's pH.
To dry your baby, carefully pat the skin with a clean towel, paying particular attention to skin folds to avoid leaving any damp areas, which could weaken the epidermis.
