SPECIFICALLY FORMULATED FOR:

Specifically formulated for oily, blemish and acne-prone skin in adults and teenagers. A dual action daily gel moisturiser that reduces the appearance of spots and blackheads, controls shine and helps to reduce inflammation in order to prevent red and brown coloured marks that are often left by spots. Provides immediate protection from UVA and UVB rays. Helps protect the skin from the effects of pollution and infrared that can damage skin over time. Hydrates skin for 24 hours. Clearer skin in 4 weeks. Suitable for even sensitive skin.

Anti-blemish treatment that corrects and hydrates oily, blemish and acne-prone skin. Visibly reduces spots, controls shine and helps to reduce the appearance of marks Now with broad spectrum UV protection.

ACTIVE

Enriched with LHA to micro-exfoliate the skin, unclog blocked pores and reduce the appearance of scarring. Also contains niacinamide to help redness and size of spots, as well as soothe discomfort caused by spots. Enriched with [ACTIVE SHIELD XL PROTECT] with SPF 30, PPD (UVA protection) and Carnosine, an anti-oxidant, that helps prevent damage caused by pollution.

01.CLEANSE

Morning and evening lather cleanser in the hand with warm water. Massage gently onto entire face, avoiding eye area. Rinse thoroughly. Pat dry.

02.TONE

For a cleansing, pore-tightening, mattifying effect, apply lotion to cotton pad and sweep over the face and neck.

03.MOISTURISE AND PROTECT

Using a pea size amount, rub into the whole face and neck in circular motions. Avoid eye contour. For sun protection throughout the day, top up with a facial sunscreen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for cutting steps out of my routine I used to use the non-spf version of this cream (Effaclar Duo), but wanted to have the benefits of SPF combined. La Roche Posay seems to work well with my skin, is light (you really only need a small amount as it's quite concentrated) and doesn't pill when I put make up over the top.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not For Me, Too Dry Too White Too Matte Sadly, hasn't worked for me. Left thick white matte cast that wouldn't disappear and an overall felt heavy on the face. Such a shame as I love La Roche-Posay and happily use many of their products, included the original Duo+ and Duo Tinted creams. Goes to bin.

First time using this the red pimples disappeared, and second time the texture of the skin became even. I used to suffer from bumpy and uneven skin alot but now I admire how the foundation stays on my face now. Just fabulous.

Switched to this after using the non SPF version and their SPF 50 for blemish prone skin because they changed the formula of the suncream and the new formula made me break out. Was loving this product for a few months (although I wish it was SPF 50 not 30..), however after a recent restock I’m thinking they’ve now changed the formula of this too?! The texture of the cream seems different to me and seems more sticky and making me oily? Why do they keep changing their formulas when the old ones are working??

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the best I bought this as I ran out of the original duo moisturiser and it is the best moisturiser I’ve used, so thought with spf will be really good. I have started using it and my eyelids have got dry and irritable and my skin is very itchy and uncomfortable. I just want to know why you can’t buy the duo on its own?
