Aimi noticed itchy, red patches on her son’s skin when he was 8 months old. He was diagnosed with eczema soon after.
Lipikar Balm AP+ can be applied right after the bath once a day to soothe irritation.
The quick-dry, fragrance-free formula makes it easy for the whole family to use - even on newborns
Hi, my name is Aimi and I love Lipikar Balm AP+. It's not just that it helps comfort and soothe my very dry skin, but my son who suffers from rough, eczema-prone skin.
Nori first started getting itchy, red scaly patches on his skin when he was 8 months old and was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis (or eczema), which is apparently quite common in children, and even more so if the parents have asthma or allergies - which his dad and I both have.
Our local pharmacist has a daughter Nori's age who also has eczema, and she recommended us to use Lipikar Baume AP+ once a day after his bath. While it wasn't easy trying to apply a balm to a wriggling baby, the difference was noticeable straightaway. The balm soothed his itching. He also seemed to be in a better mood, probably because he'd slept better, which was a relief for his exhausted parents!
We've kept using Lipikar Balm AP+ ever since, and it's great for keeping Nori’s eczema in check. On a practical note, now that Nori is three years old he's moving around even more, so the easy-squeeze tube or pump dispenser are ideal for quick application. It's not greasy or sticky either, as some balms can be.
An added bonus: after a few days of applying Lipikar Balm AP+ to Nori's skin, I noticed that the very dry skin on my hands and arms was noticeably better. I now use it as a skin moisturiser myself so, even if Nori grows out of his dermatitis (fingers crossed), Lipikar Balm AP+ will still stay in our bathroom cabinet!
