From the earliest product design stages, the Biotherm labs carry out a full test run in order to satisfy the dual requirements of tolerance and efficiency: in-vitro tests, tests on reconstructed skin models (Episkin), clinical tests under dermatological control with external service providers, etc. Every Biotherm care product is also tested in line with its characteristics: tests carried out under opthalmological control for eye care products, non-comedogenic tests for oily skin, hypoallergenic tests for sensitive skin, etc.

To know the conservation period of your product once it has been opened, read the directions on its packaging. The "period after opening" or PAO is now indicated by a specific symbol: an open pot indicating the number of months for which the product may be used after opening.

Left unopened, the conservation duration of cosmetic products is set at 30 months by a European Directive. Biotherm guarantees the quality of its products for a period in excess of this under the appropriate storage conditions, i.e.: away from excessive heat and moisture. If you want to know the expiry duration of your product, you can let us know its batch number by clicking here (link to Contact us). You will be asked for the two letters followed by three digits (e.g., XB250), and we shall inform you of its date of manufacture.
