I have suffered with pigmentation on my forehead for years, but since using the Mela B3 Serum, it has almost disappeared. This, combined with Anthelios SPF50, will also keep me well protected from further pigmentation appearing.

The Mela B3 is the new anti dark spot serum recently introduced by La Roche Posay. A serum that helps target dark spots and pigmentation on the skin. I was extremely pleased to try this serum as I have dark spots on my cheeks and pigmentation around my chin area. The serum contains the new multi patented ingredient called Melasyl which is exclusive to La Roche Posay. It claims to visibly reduce persistent dark spots and targets discolouration while respecting the skins natural skin tone. I believe with serums like these consistency is definitely key. I applied the serum in my morning and evening routine and can really notice the effectiveness of it. The dark spots on my cheeks are from sun damage and have reduced in colour. The pigmentation around my chin and mouth area has faded at least two shades and I know the results will improve further the longer I continue to use it. It’s also fragrance free, non comedogenic, a very hydrating formula, hypoallergenic and alcohol-free. The Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid is a lovely sunscreen from La Roche Posay. It’s a lightweight fluid which offers UVB/UVA protection. I love how fast this sunscreen absorbs into my skin and leaves an invisible finish, more so there is no white cast left behind - for me this is a must as my skin type is light brown. It’s suitable for all skin types and works well on my dry skin, it primes my skin perfectly ready for the day and my make up sits perfectly over it. I love that it’s a non sticky formula, doesn’t sting the eyes and is not greasy at all! A great high protection sunscreen perfectly suited for sensitive skin types.

First, the Mela-D Pigment Control Serum has been a game-changer for fading my dark spots and uneven skin tone. I have some acne scars and pigmentations from hormonal changes, and this serum has noticeably lightened those stubborn pigmentation patches. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, allowing me to layer other products on top with no pilling. A little goes a long way too, so the bottle lasts quite a while. I use it every morning and evening after cleansing. While it doesn't get rid of dark spots overnight, I've seen a marked improvement in just a couple months of consistent use. To protect my progress, I've been religious about using the Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible Fluid Sunscreen. With SPF 50+ and cellular protection, it provides excellent broad spectrum defense against further sun damage. Despite the high SPF, it has a watery, non-greasy texture that dries down to a natural matte finish - no white cast or heavy feeling at all. It wears beautifully under makeup. I appreciate that this sunscreen is also formulated for sensitive skin and doesn't irritate my eyes or cause any reactions. The fluid format makes it easy to apply and spread evenly over the face and neck. I reapply every 2-3 hours when I'm outside to maintain protection. Using this powerful serum and sunscreen combination has made such a difference in my hyperpigmentation and overall skin quality. My complexion looks brighter and more even. I'm glad I found these effective products from the skincare experts at La Roche-Posay!
