LA ROCHE-POSAY’S COMMITMENT DURING COVID
We have been committed to you and your patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We have published two new articles ‘Prevention & management of skin damage due to prolonged use of mask & frequent hand washing’ and ‘Does Daily Photo Protection Still Matter During the Covid-19 Pandemic’ on LRP PRO. The first publication comprehensively documents the aetiology of different skin manifestations and shares the findings of several different global studies. It also provides guidance on the management and prevention of these symptoms, for both HCPs and patients. The second publication explores the importance of daily photo protection, particularly in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Click here to read now.
With our Covid Care Pack initiative we have been delivering skincare packs to Healthcare Professionals and conducting virtual meetings on the use of dermocosmetics to manage the side effects of PPE, for both you and your patients. If you would like to find out more or book a meeting for your clinic, please contact us here.
NEW PODCAST SERIES
The New Dermatologist have partnered with La Roche-Posay and CeraVe to launch an innovative podcast series targeted at GPs, Dermatologists, Nurses and Trainee Practitioners in the UK and internationally. The series aims to educate GPs on common dermatological conditions including acne, psoriasis and eczema.
The series of 12 episodes sees Consultant Dermatologist Dr Victoria Akhras alongside a fellow New Dermatologist, discussing various dermatological topics posed by GP.
Every year in the UK there are around 16 200 new melanoma skin cancer cases, which equates to around 44 every day 1.
To ensure your patients understand how to stay safe in the sun we have created a library of advice materials for you to download and share with them at the link below. Our downloads include desktop and mobile optimised advice sheets designed to support your teledermatology consultations.
